Absolute pain working today.
First job an exposed house on top
of an hill with no shelter at all.
Spent rest of day wet through and
cold as next 2 jobs where EOT's with
no heating..............or kettle.

I always carry a kettle and a small jar of coffee.
Makes all the difference on those bad days.

Yes going to carry a kettle, some tea bags, coffee
and powdered milk in future.
And a spare tee shirt.

Had a couple like that yesterday, god that wind was fierce!!

My van is really dangerous because the massive back doors are like sails and the stays that hold them open are so weak, even a little puff of wind and they swing shut.  Plus I've got them fully lined with 9mm ply and loads of tools and hose ramp mounted on them

It got me once, I reckon I was only a little bit away from it breaking my leg.  Any weather, rain, fog, snow, don't mind working in it but i HATE the wind!!

I'm a windsurfer so I love it. ;D

Apparently a couple of guys got close to breaking records on the speed course at West Kirby yesterday.

It was only a little breeze  ;D ;D    Apparently the wind reached 165 mph somewhere in the Highlands.
