You use the scrubber while extracting Gaz.

The duo is used to agitate the pre-spray.

i fully understand that but i figured that the extracta has a brush that moves backward and forwards (vibrates) so was hoping i could buy the extracta to help with the agitating as well as using a brush. or should i just buy a sebo duo instead?

the scrubba is excellent as a power brush and being used while extracting, think it would be a pain just using as an agitator as its not very maneuvable, there designed to scrub & extract in one go.

They do take a bit getting used to, best for pubs and restaurant types, for domestic i would stick to a sebo for agitating,

Mainly just domestic i aint to fussed with it being heavy as i'm a bit of a fitness freak so i aint put off by it being a pain to move about. i just want something that will improve results. and i just feel the sebo will be a tad too lite. do you feel it will improve results or save time etc?

Gaz, I have a multiwash and a sebo. The multiwash does a great job of agitation, but sometimes the width makes it impractical for small rooms, and the weight makes it impractical for lightly soiled carpets - so I still use the sebo on about 2/5 jobs.
I know that doesn't really help you, but the point I'm trying to make is that you're not going to find a tool that ticks all the boxes, but you could certainly get away with a duo on 95% of domestic jobs.

Just my 2c.

Hi Gaz,

I have the middle sized scrubba, but haven't used it much for years as I use a t/m most of the time, it is a good tool but i found it too clumsy for domestics and I tend to work really fast so a wand is more my thing anyhow,

I would only recommend one for large heavily soiled areas like restaurants etc and prob would not bother with the mini but go for the bigger one,

As for agitating I would favour the oreck orbiter more or a small rotary,

I've had sebo duos in the past but they are very lightweight and tend to break easily ,

I tend to use just a pile brush when needed on domestics now as I need the exercise  ;D

Hi Gaz I origionally thought the same as you. I do mainly domestics and the scrubba works well however it is heavy and is a pain to use in tight spaces and around furiture. I rairly use it now and get just as good results using the right chems a duo and a wand. I would say the scrubba is good though but its place is only very small and you will use a duo or something similar a lot more.

A real good point about the scrubba though is you can turn the pressure right down and get excellent results using a fraction of the water.

However I would still get a duo. If your feeling flush get both ;D
