just bought some berghaus , not as good as my last pair of brashers which lasted over 3 years, doubt the berghaus will last a winter,
my best pair of water proof boots are my meindl burma pro , very water proof , i use them on my walking trips, to good for window cleaning though.

Couldn't aggree more, I've tried brashers, karrimor(rubbish) now i use the Meindl vakuum GTX  just replaced my last pair with the exact model..Brilliant boot, quite costly but worth every penny.

These work for me....

They look really good, are the soles thick enough for our job?

Bump

Dan?

Sorry mate...
Yes they are great for work....lovely and warm when it's really cold and wet.

Thanks, I'm gonna order a pair of those. ;)

I have started wearing gaiters with my boots and find they help keep my feet and the bottoms of my trousers dry.

I'm a North face fan, but prefer Berghaus.... There usually around £80, but your feet take a pounding daily!

Rob.

I to like berghaus , but their boots are crap, stitching come undone, wet feet and sole split  , this was after 3 mths !would never buy boots from them again.

Yes I get the wet trouser leg thing aswell.
Usually don't notice it much in the warmer months but as it is colder now they still stay damp.
I will be digging out my waterproof trousers soon.
As for footwear im wearing Caterpillar boots. Seem ok, no wet feet.
