just updated to latest version of George and on job page it now shows a box for skipped jobs

question is over what time period is this a week, month, year

however new round selection tick box far far better than the old drop down menu

also just printed out job sheet for tomorrow and now shows "job priority" status on worksheet

result is now sheet too cluttered and a waste of ink

useless feature

more use would be a box to tick if cash as well as the 1 already there for cheque

when you click on a job it will tell you the average gap over the last 6 cleans this is how you know the period

I bought a palm PDA off eBay for £15 and use pocket George it's well easy and when you finish your round you connect to pc press 1 button and it updates George and auto puts non payers straight onto the debt list plus you can access all your rounds at any time on it great for attempting to pull the odd job forward if you have been messed about-highly recommend this

Thanks Graham may try it as got palm tdx summit or other just need a sync cable as lost it

A palm 130/150 will do, also a palm zire 31 ......... slightly faster than a 150 and the 31 also has a built in mp3 player.

Spoke to Paul sanders and the only PDA platform is palm,check out George website and will give you what software version to get but I had probs as u will come across many different ones but if you use the contact us details and let Paul and his team know which one your buying they will tell u of it's compatible or not,if u email they normally answer within minutes,once u have tried this u will never touch paper again and it don't half impress the customers...,! Hope this helps

To remove average gap betwen jobs, go to settings, then printing, then untick Show ave gap between jobs in top right corner.

To remove priority, go to settings, then misc untick Show JobPriority on Work List - near bottom right hand corner.

Graham, does the PDA also mean you have your debt list at hand ?

Debt list is on Pocket George too - it's updated at the same time as you update your daily work

A bit of a bug with the debt list on pocket George ........ If a custie owes for previous cleans and pays on the next clean, when you mark the job off as done and paid, it automatically adjusts the amount that is owed and paid. The bug is that it doesn't remove the debt from the debt list until you do the next hot sync. But other than that, I think it's well worth the money.
