I Like the Sebo Dart, a very nice little machine and it is steerable. They are available from various places at various prices but I recommend trying solution uk as they have great customer care.

yep i have a sebo dart 2 prior to that i had a karcher cw50 and a sebo 36 (i think) there all pretty good long lasting (about 3 years if you use every day) uprights there is some difference in weight  depending who is using it.

I often find those 2 words never go together 'Best' & 'cheapest' which do you want?

the best or the cheapest ;)

any twin motor machine will do a good job, if you take your time ( at least 30mins on an average 14x12 livingroom ;D)

Sebo 36 and 46 are regarded by many as the best commercial vacs for carpet cleaners. Check out the brochure here:

He a newbie!  So  I will forgive him. ;D ;D

Uprights are crap on stairs and upholstery/bedding that’s where the Hunter comes in, don’t think you should be using a beater bar type on pure wool Henry lead the way!

Mike

Point noted but the do at times!

The sebo bs36 has a detachable arm which you would find very useful to run along skirtings and for sucking up larger pieces of debris which the dart hasn't, even though the dart has other advantages over  the 36 IMO it dosn't make up for losing that arm.

You obiously havent used the dart as it still has the arm as the 36 ( although not the long bit)
You can still use the extendable arm for edges and skirtings.
It is lighter and more powerful than the 36 and also you can manover it better and as Goraon states Solutions Uk still do the best deal and customer service IMO.

Hi Paul
You are right i havn't used the Dart which looks like a great machine,do you find with not having the longer arm you are bending over a lot or you have just  got used to it as that would be my only concern.

You are correct, without the arm there is a bit more bending.... but the power difference.....

Worth it in my opinion..

While a Dyson may be a bit cheaper and the performance may be satisfactory they have a habit of falling to bits if used every day.
You get what you pay for like every thing else.

I sometimes find that people say "ive got one of those in the cupboard" its nice to use a vaccume the consumer cant easily purchase. That way you look or feel mor professional.

Just my opinion anyway

I have a dyson  for er indoors ;D
