They have the national contract too Four Seasons Healthcare, just took on 100+ care homes most of which are in the South, South west and a few in the midlands. The homes in question are formally southern cross. I spoke to a person at ukcc to see if they are subbing the new work? No was the answer we are doing them all in house. Newcastle to Hampshire is a very long way but if they are doing a lot, then they must have crews travelling down and staying in hotels. Working that way i can't see them making money.

Might be worth another call to them, I have lost a few over the years which were supposed to be cleaned "in house" which by the time they realised the work involved they subbed out

I have (had?) 2 southern cross care homes too.

Ive been waiting to see if they were going to go national now they have transferred their homes to new owner / operators.

I guess I will have to check the paperwork they have been sending me and hope the new operators are NOT four seasons.

Will be a shame to lose them, well paid jobs and can be cleaned whatever the weather/time/day. :(

^ checked the paperwork for the bigger of the 2 homes I clean. They are NOT going to fourseasons so I may be keeping this one for the time being atleast.
