last time i got the scraper out on the worst of it. but watch that glass, i am warning customers or risk of scratching before i do it, then if they take responsibility its up to them if there are marks. Could do with disclaimer really, esp after seeing all the scratched panes being discussed on here! :S

don't bother. if you damage the glass, you will get the bill. get the builders back.

Yep, I've had two properties where this has been done too. I tried and failed to get it off the first property, and I didn't even bother trying on the second.
Just explain to the customer that it won't come off.

I did one with WD40 - worked quite well. Could try meths or white spirit.

Don't do it. The only way is scraping and it will A) take you and age and B) you will be blamed for any scratches/marks.
