clean it up

This post is to HOPEFULLY help change some of your ways.  not all but alot of people on this forum seem to be interested in putting others down and damaging the reputations of companies. i was just looking at a thread where a lady was lookin for advice and  lots of you decided to rip into her. hope that makes you all feel big boys. Forums are meant to be helpfull and a bit of wit is fun but damaging the reputation of companies that you have never really given the chance is pathetic as this is peoples bread and butter were talkin about. olive branch my a**e just get a bit if glue u tight wod. moderators should do something about it. I will be closing my acc ount down after this post as i cant be bothered with people who thrive on being bullies obviously some had issues at school . rant over sorry to all the genuine people  but i hope u agree. :P :P

If this is about the Brodex post, I wasn't really interested in it; I don't use them.  I use companies I know to be good because I've used them before; Window Cleaning Warehouse, Gardiners, Cleaning Warehouse, and another whose name escapes me.

However, deleting your accounts in protest isn't going to do much.  Crickey, over the years, the amount of guys I've seen do a 'final post' then delete their accounts 'cos they're upset over something is quite a few.

Most tend to rejoin after a short while anyway; but regardless; no-one really cares.

Delete your account - so what?  I'll still have a shower, eat my dinner and go out later; the World will still turn, Elvis will still be living in Caldicot (just outside Chepstow), and my dog will still lick his nuts; my point being it's pointless.

I don't mean that in an unkind way; just letting you know how it is - you'll join back up after a short time and the forum will still be as busy, noisy, and boisterous as usual.

Regards,

Tosh

I agree with all the above.  There are people out 'there' who seem to like to bash products and ideas that they know little or nothing about.  I see it on other forums too, mind you, it's not just on here it happens, and I'm not just talking about 'Brodex'.  It IS pathetic, and it is potentially harmful and I hope that the people who make these posts flippantly might face the court to answer for their efforts.

Not if they have a genuine gripe or complaint - that' different, but the going on about this and that and making up stories about products etc might be seen as harmful in the eyes of the court.  Hope so anyway, as there are few here and there that I'd like to see fined and made to look shameful.  Then we'll find out how brave they really are.

Don't delete your account, mate.  It'll achieve nada.

Daniel a lot of people think the same but deleting your account like tosh says is pointless, just ignore the posts that certain individuals post on, if like me you'll soon learn who they are and many people think the same about these people, but there are many good members of this forum who give great advice and have helped me out in the beginning,

I think some of the negative comments about certain company's can only be good as it will make them improve there ways, but I agree that some do go too far, 1 brodex thread was enough didn't need 3,

Here we go again! rolly eyes.

At least it's clear now who are the ones trying to do harm.

This reminds me of the quotation "word of mouth" best form of advertising for business. ;)

But I do hope for all concerned it all gets sorted.

Good advise doesn't consist of other companies being ripped into. And i know many who like brodex and continue using them ive brought poles in the past and had them replaced when they broke, and companies can change from what i understand they have had a change around in staff and have improved there equipment. some people have never even used half there equipment but because they had a bad pole feel its in there power to slate everything else. And its not about brodex people ask for advice and for all you know is having a hard time and you get some muppet giving a load of abuse and from this thread youve made yourselves stand out quite clearly  GET A LIFE or do some work unless you have a proper problem or can actually help out.

That's enough, some people are going to end up in court the way things are going, if you have issues deal directly not on here.

You have been warned!
