Little giant ladder users

Reading a recent post on little giant ladder.

Just wondering if this ladder (4 rung) is good for climbing over gates; i.e: If this ladder is set in step ladder mode, like this:   ^   is it tall enough to go over 6ft garden gates; rather than splitting my normal 6.1 m 2 section ladder into sections for climbing over.

Just tired of big ladder that i don't use much.

like the look of little giant, was thinking might be useful for connie roof cleans.

thanks lee

Lee look at the video on YouTube about it, they demenstrate the 4 rung one, and too me it looks like it would easily go over gates.

Which one will get up to 1st floor? Always been WFP, but had a decent ladder when I needed to use one, but on my new Boxer, I'd rather have a ladder in the back when needed than on the roof.

the 4 rung one would do that and its only 4ft closed length as well

Comfortably? It will reach the top of the window? I could easily take the 6 rung one in the back (oo er missus) so would get that if needed.

i got a 2.2 metre  closed lenght extension ladder  which in cut down to 2  metre so that  it fits straight in the back of my primstar ,  very handy for getting over gates ect  ,

When i started WFP i didnt want hassle of carrying roof racks etc around, we now commute about 85 miles per day, mainly high speed/motorway.  I bought one of those collapsable ladders that can also double as a step ladder, which is short enough to fit in our VW caddy with ease, but which is tall enough to get me up onto first floor flat roof extensions, etc.  On short gates I can set it as a step ladder and get over that way, and you just walk up and over quite simply, but im not sure if it would quite fit over a full size gate.  I can get to the first floor window but dont normally have to.  They do feel a bit shaky tho, nothing gives you confidence like a proper full size ladder under you, I am 6 foot 1 tall and , erm, 16 stone, or just over if had a good breakfast, and it is still going "strong" after nearly 2 years.  And not heavy or bulky  to lug about either.
