Logo's do look good on quotes, but you have to balance them with a professional approach & knowledgeable demeanour. I've got 4 main logos on all my paperwork & quotes:

Guild
Height Wise
Thermoshine
BICS

Plus my own company logo & the ever present "find us on Facebook" badge.

its more like £110 quid.  Just coming to the end of my first year as a member and the best perks i've had are discounts for the safety courses they run, a large number of people you can speak to for friendly advice.  Very accommodating staff.  They also get customers ringing up every now and then who they pass onto you.  As long as you get one ten pound customer from them then the membership pays for itself.  Also lots of tender advice etc, and free 24hr legal advice, and cheap health insurance.
Its up to you really, its quite stuck in the past and they do need updating.  The shops pretty crap and even with the staff discount its more expensive than elsewhere. For example they had a big day where unger came down to show off their wfp equipment and the federation made a big deal of it, when in reality ungers wfp stuff is a waste of time.
