FOR TRADS: DOG-EARRING BLADES
« on: September 18, 2011, 06:58:05 pm »
Has anyone on this forum had any experience of dog-earring blade ends? Some years ago I thought about doing something similar, but never got round to it. About four months ago another window cleaner I know told me about dog-earring, so this got me interested again. I have been doing experimental work with blades, but I don't want to say any more for the moment, because I don't want to bore people with it!!! any views or opinions?

cozy

I've never found the need to dog ear. A modern squeegee holds the rubber fine.

OK, thanks for your comments. I've watched the videos, but I do it differently to that, but I shall be looking at that wagtail device!!

I`ve done it for several years ,, i read about it on some American site ,, but i bent them up rather than down ,,
untill i realised after seeing something on You Tube ,,   get your technique right , and you can do away with detailing .
