R.I.P
« on: August 23, 2011, 04:22:48 pm »
R.I.P my ladders  :( after around 20 years of trad ( and loving it ) im now WFP.
didnt like it to start with.... not one bit  >:( . But now i would NEVER go back to trad.
Dont know about what you guys all think, but i find 1st cleans with WFP really hard. ie; bird poo tough grim etc etc. some times wish i could just get up their with my old trusty scrapper.
That being said.... how good is WFP when ur doing the frames as well  ;)Ive not really got going with my speed as yet, but im sure on a normal/standard house it must be so much quicker.
have any of you guys ended up needing more work?
not a great post i know, just wanted to share my thoughts with you on it  ;D

The hardest part of wfp is the first cleans, you really have to spend plenty of time and care to get them right. Apart from that it is great not having to kill yourself climbing ladders  ;D

Well done, Ladders; good on you, mate.  What system have you got?  And yes, you'll be needing more work.

Pricey; if you bought it new, there were cheaper alternatives (just as good) about; but from what I've read their kit is top quality.

I look forward to reading your posts of your initial trials and tribulations.

It's a much easier way to work too.

What poles are you using?

im not sure what my business partner uses  :-\ im not even interested, as i cant use them with out hurting my back  :( . But i use a 5m harris pole, im 6ft 2" tall & can get lot of the windows we need to get. Anthing higher & my mate does them, with what i "just call the big gun". I know im being a bit of a girl thingy with the harris, but it works really well for me at the moment. Maybe after a while my back will be stronger & i will get to use "the big gun's".
