What Gutter Cleaning Poles?
« on: August 18, 2011, 10:03:30 am »
Been looking at two sets of companies that produce suction poles for gutter cleaning, just wondered what people's thoughts are on the Gutter Cleaning Systems ally version and Grippa Tanks versions (CF, GF, Ally) They all seem good products but would be good to here so reviews if them...

i use ally poles ,and they are heavy.apparently you can get carbon ones ,but they will be expensive.
my advise would be that if you can get enough work ,then go for carbon.

I have 8 carbon base sections from the MAP F16 pole that I use for gutter cleaning I did get a good deal on them from a local tackle shop they would have normaly been around £90 each, and they are very light all 8 of them together will measure 45'11" and weigh only 2.4kg , I do use them upside down to normal though so that debris that comes down the tubes doesn't damage the ends of them

Yes the debris runs down the inside of the tubes my vac hose is attached at the bottom of the poles so I get away with only having a 5m vac hose

The poles a very rigid almost no bend at all

I cant remember what I paid for the tubes the reciepts are boxed away in  last years accounts, they should of been around £90 each but as I said I did get a good deal on them

Just been searching for this F16 sections, can I ask what size they are individually and does a standard 51mm hose just fit over the end??

You need the 14.5 and 16m parrallel extension sections, try Cheshire fishing, use to be £60 some are using the SL2 ext sections.
