they really do

 been thinking about it,a straight up ,good regular sort, hardly ever texts if at all,even in the early days .   
  i found  myself  replying to folk that text me,cancelling my service ,my reply went along the lines of "no problem,all the best ,to you and yours , etc " -now thats just a sucker reply  isnt it ,waiting for the  knock down punch and paying for the reply too
   even had one texting me with "xxx "at the end of her cheery messages, but then when i show up for my money wont answer the door-this has really riled my goat ,the ugly bint  must have a screw loose 

 i am now taking a new approach,for the messer/ texter -i dont reply . i doubt Any big boy firms reply to  text anyway .

wouldnt tell it to ya face would they. text is a cowards way out of getting rid of the windy. or they try and make it your fault by blaming you for somthing.

i dont know where you work bobby but you seem to have a real resentment about customers cancelling your service!!

i dont have anywhere near the problems you have with customers.ive never had a one cancel through texting.of course i get ones cancelling for various reasons but they are very few.

even had one the other day where I INSISTED THAT I CANCELLED MY SERVICE to him as he s really struggling to find work and struggles to pay me(£5).he feels guilty about it so i just said ill leave them until work picks up for him.he seemed relieved!sometimes you have to read your customers and treat each one differently.

i also think your attitude towards your customers from what ive read on this forum is pretty bad!remember they pay your wages!i find a friendly cool approach in most cases to be the best course of action and attitude to take.

if customers sense a bad attitude from you,you could end up losing more jobs!

Daz ,i woke up feeling bitter ,but im actually a mild guy, in this job its easy to be trodden on  as it appears lowly to some(but not all) customers .

 i have plenty of work as i work the low-end council stuff  mainly ,i prefer it that way, but i  must be stronger so i dont get bogged down by messers .  when i update George later today i will wipe off a few messers ,these folk pull my lads spirits down too so its important i get rid.  these texters are middle aged ,always white, //although ive had my share of ethnic messers,they never text or bother me in that way

 i have only been in the game 3+years so i guess ive picked up a raft of cast off text- messers on board,along with the many perfectly good customers / especially as i have been doubling my round size this year .
