Ettore Backflip or Wagtail Whirlwind?
« on: July 23, 2011, 07:55:31 am »
This week I was unable to clean some high internal windows due to the heat and near instant evaporation of solution.  I have arranged to call back on a wet day.
The job needed to be done using a pole.
Could anyone tell me if the Backflip or the Whirlwind would be the better choice for occasional high indoor residential work. Thanks

Could anyone explain the main difference between the Whirlwind and the Flipper.
I was under the impression that the Whirlwind has the slimline channels and a more aggressive pad.
Does anyone use an Ettore Backflip?
Thanks.

i use a vise versa from unger.handy in winter when its below freezing in the day.the ettore backflip is the same thing.if the internals dont have deep ledges then this tool will be perfect.if they do then 2 extension poles with an angle adaptor on each one/ squeegee on one and mop on the other will be your best bet.i also have a fixiclamp that i can pop a cloth in for any detailing thats required.a bit fiddly but it gets the job done safely without a ladder.
