Hey everybody!!!

I'm looking at getting a small pressure washer for cleaning fascia and soffits, mainly using a lance with the appropriate jet (I'm assuming one of those turbo ones??)

I've been offered a brand new 4hp Briggs & Stratton powered one which kicks out 120bar (min) 140bar (max) with 5.3ltrs per minute. Would this be strong enough for the job, I don't want something to powerful that is hard to handle or control?

I have also been offered a job removing moss from a customers garage roof (apex/tiled) it's pretty heavily covered in parts would this be man enough for the occasional clean?

This wouldn't be used everyday just as and when...

Thats a kiddies toy, not a pressure washer! 

I know you prob think you won't use it much, but a cheapo 13hp machine from jetmac.co.uk will pay for itself time & again & will do the job much better+ quicker.

SCOTT HOW MUCH U GOT TOO SPEND I HAVE A 13 HP HONDA PRESSURE WASHER FOR SALE MAYBE THAT YOU SEE ON THE TECHCLEAN WEBSITE CANT REMEMBER WHICH MODEL IUIT IS BUT IT PUSHES OUT 15LITRES A MIN I THINK

To be honest not a great deal, is yours the Honda engined 250 they sell?? How much was you looking for it??

Is 13hp a big big, thought I'd read on here somewhere that 7hp was sufficient for most larger tasks??

well its not massive but will bring driveways up nice which is another avenue you could go down, i personally dont think pressure washing gutters is best method.

the pressure washer would go for bout 600-700

to buy new worth over 2 grand

Well I'd guttervac them first, it's only i did two detached three story houses the other month. Was done with gt3 and my wfp system and it was bloody hard graft they both took all day. Just wanted to try a faster method and thought pressure washing Would work on the plastics but not inside the gutters themselves??

to be fair all out work is mainly 2 storey so cant comment on fascias at 3 storey!!!!!!

Was a numpty what made it worse was that every meter there was a uPVC elbow to clean... Four sided as well
