Job booked for next week, bad draught marks, I mean real bad, including a few that go across floor joins.
Some are two inches wide.

I usually treat those first, then general presparay,agitate and extract

My question , is there a single product that would be a pre spray and draught mark removal product all in one?

I normally use ashbys supreme grease or a 50/50 mix of multi pro for draught marks

Ultrapac renovate, sometimes total removal not possible. Unless the sub floor is made air tight they will return. Citrus concentrate from restoremate is very good too, mark

Yeah, I use enz-all and that works great on filter marks. If you use multi pro or whatever as your general pre-spray try mixing some citra concentrate with it. Works great.

Ultrapac renovate from prochem is also good for filtertion marks and general pre-spray. Test if your using it on wool first tho.

I mixed some up for a soot spill the other day and as it was in the sprayer used it for the rest of the day on some student mingers, well impressed with it as a pre spray, only ever used it for specific areas before then.

Also warn the client that it will probably come back again in a few months time.

Like Mark said, you need to create an air tight envoiroment. So laying ply board over the floor boards and sealing the edges with silicon works. Then the underlay and carpet on top.

Worked for me anyways, I had bad filtration marks in this house. (Typical old Edinburgh Gorgian home)  The problem with this method is  that you have problems accessing the floor boards in the future.

Line the floor with plastic and decorators cork the edged does the trick.

You need silicon for the edges as it is flexible and moves with the building. Calk can shrink and crack.

Same here with telling the clients they will not remove 100 pcnt..and tell them they will ome back.

The worst ones are the ones that run accross the center of the carpet on show..

Nothing fancy on the floor just lay old newspapers on floorboards
and cover with underlay.

Don't use much ultrapac nowadays but when I did it use to do the job.
Now mostly use M power, Citus concentrate/citra clean both of which got rid of some beginning of this week.

Ultrapac is ok, but i have mixed it 50/50 on some and it still wont budge some filtration marks it also foams bad so be careful.
