blown fuse
« on: June 18, 2011, 06:21:13 pm »
cleaning a carpet this morning and halfway through the clean the fuse went in the plug powering the two vacs and the pump went.So i changed it checked over my machine. The only thing i could see that might be wrong was that the filter in the waste tank was completely blocked. Unblocked it carried on and ten minutes later it went again.luckily id just finished  :D

Any ideas on what the problem could be.Its never done this before :)

Cheers Ben

either a break in the cable, or a fault in either vac or the pump.
try each switch seperatley and see which trips.
If none it will be the cable
