As her friend told her the water could ruin her window frame,it's double glazing windows with PVC surrounds that have a little painted wooden frame round it,I pointed out to her the water landing on her frame was very minimal as the PVC overhangs the wood sill,plus the fact we live in Scotland and it rains 5 out of 7 days in the summer,then I said I would see what I could do for the next time,she will have forgotten by then but it made me laugh
