I have had an Ionics system for the pass 4 years and never had any problems except the automatic switch not working in year 3.

Who has other systems like facelift, brodex, any Ionics and how have you found your system?

Pro 6 no problems, my only real complaint is the colour change resin is not as good as ionics say.

I have a pump, pole and a hose in my van.. never had any problems with it at all.. and cost under £500!! How much did yours cost?

Ive had solinoid problems with my pro 5  and will have to book it in,     can still fill it ok through the carbon filter but have to make sure to switch off when full as the solinoid activates the flooet switch.





groundhog   your a genious and I wish to subscibe to your newsletter,    whats your advice on gutter vacs ?   I have the Omni-vac but what would you recommend ?

Its not a competition. How did you set about getting your system together Mr Hog?

How much is that costing you, cus I think I have the same problem. I changed the switch but I still have to pop out in the middle of the night to turn it off lol

I say with normal use the sediment filter should last a couple of years or so (£75) and the polisher resin varied at one every qrter at £50 a pop.

I cant remember the cost last time so I need to call them and find out but this will be my 3rd solinoid in 5 years

£50.00 a pop? no mate just short of £90.00, The resin lasts about 7/ 10 weeks 12 if your lucky. In two years i have had one that lasted me 12 weeks. The last one i put on went brown in one week, and had a tds reading of 00.3 in 4 weeks. I have now put a DI vessel on with tulsion resin in mid December and just changed it in early may i still had a reading of 00.2, but that's me,00.3 is my limit. All other filters are fine. I produce my water at 00.1 rising to 00.2/3 at the end of my fill.  £90.00 X 4 = £360, One bag of resin from Daz Services = £73.00 = two fills of your DI vessel, that will last a year, Its a no brainer
