« on: May 20, 2011, 09:03:23 pm »
Just been and got some powerburst today ready for a doctors sergery i will be cleaning tomorow but have just realised i only have a small amount of rince for extraction. Is rincing vital everytime when using powerburst? The carpets are just your basic hardwearing carpet tiles so will  i be able to just use my extraction plus or will i need to rince.Cheers Ben  ::)

Presumably you mean "acidic rinsing"
Personally I wouldn't risk using powerburst without an acidic rinse. If you've got none and determined to use the powerburst then I did hear of someone using white vinegar (any supermarket) in their tank. They claimed it doesn't leave a smell  ;D, haven't tried it myself so not sure of quantities.

If theyare polyprop or nylon you dont need to acid rinse, hot plain water rinse will be fine

I would pad it with a microsplitter if you can + a germicide.

Acid rinse use is more than just neutralisation. The main one is healthier profits for suppliers, but I still use an acid on occasion.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.
