gardiners to a simple tap valve for the hose mate.

aqua dapter is a good but not cheap option - i think the aqua dapters should be about half the price they are at the mo, its very well built but end of the day its just a plastic case with a spring in it

I'm loathed to buy one of them mate as i just know that i'm gonna end up cleaning glass with a bush or obstacle or somethinggggggggg that i'm gonna hit it with. It's a whole lot cheaper to replace a £10 tap  :-\ Ta anyways...................i'll have a loooooook  ;)

Well, the simplest ideas are often the best, but still I hope you're exaggerating just a little ;)

We obviously prefer it if you look after it, and of course it'll last longer if you do, but they are designed to be robust!

If that's not enough, check out the site today (possibly tomorrow too) to see the current price.

http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Flow_Control_Valves.html

You can also buy these at the local pirteck if they have them in stock.

The metal valve from Gardiner is very good.  I use it and they last a good while, only £4 to replace the valve so I always carry a few spares just incase.

Don't fancy adding any extra weight to the top of the pole.  Seems silly to buy expensive poles for lightness and rigidity and then put extra weight at the top.

Simon.
