John Hewitt (http://www.johnhewitt.com/wc.htm) is who I normally recommend but it seems he's out of stock on most of his backpacks. Have a look around as most backpacks come from the same Chinese factory. I use the John Hewitt ESR505 which is identical to the Omnipole backpack (which I also have) yet was about £80 cheaper!

Backpacks are good for starting off with. I used one for over a year and a half and it's only about now that I've upgraded to a trolley system.

get the cheapest possible they all come from china

i use a couple of ws15 from john hewitts they got 70 psi
pump at 2.6 ltr per min by time water gets to brush its
ideal for me one speed so no mucking about.

the only weakness its got is the little on off switch
underneath they dont last long but its easy to wire
your own decent switch on

john hewitt site mate.

we have a few of the esr16 (its the same as the wcw one but cheaper)

has a good 5 flow controller ( speed 1 is more than enough ) so you wont waste to much water compared the other backpacks that dont have a controller - some bps flow is too high with only one speed.

its built well and the handle is very good.

staff abuse them and still going strong.

end of the day they are just crop sprayers.

the esr16 is the same as the v2 at wcw - prob bought from the same supplier in china
