I've got both the yellow WCW backpack (£100 ish) and the Shurflo Backpack (£300 ish), and the Shurflo is more suitable for someone whose going to use it as their primary means of cleaning windows.  My shurflo is four years old and has had a right hammering.  Some days I've put 200 litres through there; which is a lot for a backpack.

Contrast that with the WCW backpack, I've hardly used it and it's falling to bits already!

The WCW backpack is more suitable for a compliment to a van-mount system where it's only used occasionally, and not day-in-day-out.

I can't answer the rest of the questions; gotta go!  ;D

i wouldnt bother with a backpack as your main system.you will be forever filling up!the pumps are not as good as trolleys/van mounts.

ive got a 50L PURE FREEDOM TROLLEY and its great as my main system.it can be used as a mini van mount as well.i use 30m of extension hose as well as the hose that came with the trolley.suits me fine.i have lots of very compact work with parking issues so the trolley is ideal for lots of my work.

most use van mounts but i dont fancy all that hose everywhere and higher insurance costs.not to mention freeze ups in winter damaging pumps etc.

do you research on the forums for a few months and decide what will best suit your work.

best wishes and good luck!
