I have got a Fog-it fogger from ebay , it works fine easily as good as an american thermal fogger that I had for years at a fraction of the cost. At first it looks like a toy compared to the aluminium kettle type fogger, but it is sturdy and reliable and the fog will be visible for hours (indicating desirable small particles). Mine has a remote controll too which is very useful too.
The chemical supplied by Fog-it claims to have anti microbial properties ,which if true would put its effects ahead of those caused by unsmoke chemicals .
On fire damaged properties it has had the desired effect , which is to make the environment safe and comfortable enough for my staff to operate.
I have also fogged a few of my own vehicles ,as well as friends and family , combined with cleaning it worked very well. For under £100 inc chemicals I would say it has been well worth it.
