Be careful!!!

I bought vac & solution hose on Ebay from a guy who puts together his own hose - utter crap!!! >:(

The solution hose had to be re-crimped several times by my local Hose Doctor and I had so many black tape repairs on the vac hose it was embarassing. All of this was in about 5 months so I just bit the bullet and bought new stuff. Turns out the soltion hose was not heat rated and the vac hose was not crush proof but the guy advertised it as professional standard and that's why I bought it. I paid more in repairs than I paid for the hoses, not including down time.

I got my vac hose from Cleaning Systems UK in Fife and I got my local hose Doctor to make me a solution hose which is the correct standard for heat, pressure etc. I got it one year ago and its great quality.

Food for thought - you get what you pay for.

I prefer to leave it outside for many reasons. But it's up to you at the end of the day.  It also depends on the spec of your machine too, But as your asking about 50ft hose i take it you must have 2 x 3 stage vac motors.

Main reason to leaving it outisde is for the indoor air quality.
A porty's exhuast blows out alot of crap. So its best be outside, but not always practial. i.e. not long enough hose length/machine doesn't preform well with such a long hose run, weather condtions, chavs hanging about outside, if your doing upholstery its not practical to go outside to turn off the machine constantly etc

Its rare that a waste tank or solution tank would start leaking on you but yes, the machine can leak from other places i.e. the pump and/or brass connectors inside the machine. Usually just a wee drip tho so no biggy.

Always best to put a thick towel or dust sheet under the machine and creating as much ventaltion as possible (open windea and doors with customer permistion) if using the machine indoors.

Tony has the post of reason!

If you can get the machine outside makes the house smell nicer!!
