Hi guys how many houses do you do on a normal days work,
Lets say there all basic 3 bedroom houses, I charge 8 pound for these and do about 10 a day, Is it achievable to possibly do anymore? I work solo and are water fed pole.

We were just discussing this today :D

We used to clean about 20 - 25 per day sometimes even 30- going back to 1992!
Using ladders etc
Mainly door to door for about 5 pound apiece

If you mean a 3 bed semi without bay windows (like ex council jobbies) with good access then if they are really compact on repeat cleans wfp you should start at 4 an hour dropping to 3 an hour in the afternoon when you are knackered. And £10 a pop on new stuff but even old stuff should not be less than £8.

When I was on ladders I could do three an hour for a couple of hours but would drop to about 2.5 as the day wore on.
It's a game of three halves!

I normally do around 16 a day, but I do work harder than most, look better as I have a van, and smell better as I now use Brylcreem.

can't answer this properly unless I see what Mr sparkle classes a three bedroom basic house looks like, a pic or street view link would help. but to be doing only ten in a day sounds very wrong, and either you are charging not enough or you are taking far to long per clean.

a standard 3 bed semi should take one guy no more than 10mins to do - if they are all together then you should easily manage 30 a day.

If you can't manage this then you're far too slow

£8 is way too low, even the real cheapo window cleaners have a minimum of a tenner!! I have mainly large houses on my round these days, but I do have a nice housing estate where I have over 100 houses, and my record is 43 houses cleaned in one day!!  :)

30 a day?  Is that all?  You should be able to clear 50, easily.

Must go, my Porsche needs running in.
