We have been doing a school for about 7 years and last year they wanted us all to be CRB checked.
All schools are different , have you spoken to anyone at the school. Try calling them and asking what documents they require for contract workers

You're fairly local to me, I'm in Shrewsbury.  I do a few schools for Shropshire Council, they require £5m PL, CRB (although only been asked to show it once to a school), risk assessment and method statement.  Invoice school but get paid by the council, so need to be an approved supplier (you get a number).  Have not done any for Telford so don't know how they operate.

Approved supplier is that through the council?
