Mahogany floor tiles polishing
« on: October 01, 2005, 07:45:06 pm »
Does anybody know how to clean & polish mahogany floor tiles? It's like parquet but the tiles are bigger. Should it be sealed? Waxed or varnished? Should a wet mop be used on it? Some of the tiles come loose (it's in a pub) and have to be re-stuck to the floor which is marble underneath and the tiles are stuck on with bitumen! Any useful advice welcome. Ideally the floor surface should be water proof so that water, spilled drinks etc can't get underneath and cause the tiles to lift.
