I'm using a hire van at the moment and everything is loose in the back. So Saturday morning the inevetable happened, sudden stop and big crash in the back.

When I got to the next house I realised that one of the jets on my brush has snapped off clean as a whistle flush with the top of the brush head. Disaster and a full days work ahead.
So I blanked off the water supply to the broken jet by jamming a match stick in the plastic tube and tried to work with one jet instead of two.

In fact its great. I am in no way disadvantaged. The flow rate is much more controlable. I can use a stronger looking jet while still having the variflow turned down below its normal setting and I am using much less water per day.

The one pencil jet is more controlable than two so I don't end up spraying bits I don't want to.

I have ordered some new jets but I am not so sure I will rush to fit them. Anyone else tried only one jet?

If you go to one jet (as against being forced to by a snap-off) would you reposition it to the middle or is having it to one side better? (Edges and stuff)

4 jets save water and more control.

i reckon a great idea..im gona bust 1 of my jets.. im using far to much water with a trolley system...

You don't have to break it just disconnect the water supply and plug it with something to give it a try.
The big problem with jets where water supply is concerned is that the jets are too big for the backpack / trolley user.

just did my windows n disconnected a jet. worked wonders. i didnt end up soaking the brickwork rinsing lol. might have to keep it blocked from now on.

I had a blocked jet today. It was brilliant for rinsing. Did a search and it seems every thread about it says how well it works!
