Question about spot and stain machine pleeeeze?
« on: March 28, 2011, 06:27:23 pm »
Hi guys

I need to invest in a machine for removing odd spots and stains in carpets.  I do a bit of cleaning in a care home and it would be nice to offer to clean the odd stain.  I've looked into the Prochem Bravo, it looks a good tool but at £500 plus another £100 for the wand I think it's too much to spend as this will be a kind of courtesy service.  The biggest area I would be aiming to clean would be about 20 sq m at a time but mostly just stain patches about 1 sq m.  Any ideas of a good machine for maybe 250 all in?
Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Thanks in anticipation

Think Craftex are doing a basic grey sabrina for around £300 which is ideal for spot cleaning or very small areas of carpet,  I had a flyer about it some time ago, you probably have to phone them to get the latest info,

Worth it for a cheap spot machine though,

No its better than that one. I have all the tools for it and its in very good condition (not scratched up).
Probably only been used a dozen times.  :D
