To work! Really heavy rain and high wind all night.
Just txt all me custies I've booked in and cancelled them.

It's ruddy awful here again today.I'm ready to go though if it eases off a bit.I would like to get some local work done then lots of decent work due next week.in Wales some people have had to be rescued from their caravans due to floods!

I started the first job this morning and gave up after trying one window as the wind was so strong.

The wind has died down a bit and I should go and do a few houses but I can't be bothered.

Silly really as I'm 3 weeks behind with some jobs.

You say only a week behind but a week behind is serious money down the toilet. A week behind to me is a disaster i hate it. Just think your car was a grand but by being a week late you must have lost near on that.

mick i dont look at it like that!ive been in this game many years and occasionally we have periods of very bad weather,low motivation and bank holidays that disrupts the normal flow of work.(all 3 together for me lately!!)

its only money!ill soon be out earning again!

i used to think like you but i tend to go with the flow these days.no point getting frustrated by it.i have the attitude of "ill take my luck as it comes".why is it a disaster?if you ve got a good round you ll be fine!!

Ive gone one better Daz and bought a 14k caravan, its not stopped raining since we ordered it, hopefully by the time it comes, next month, the good weather will be back

I did a fascia,soffit and gutter clean today and then windows from 12-3.30.Had a good day,was a bit windy at times and rained but just carried on as they were only showers.
