Cloudy Ammonia
« on: March 02, 2011, 08:22:39 pm »
For several months now I have been adding a slosh of cloudy ammonia to my mix when doing squeegee work.
It seems to have increased the cleaning power, squeegee glide and shine.
Just wondering if any others have tried it?

I`ve heard of people using ammonia but not for a while. Ammonia is a very strong cleaning agent.

Extra squeegee glide though  ;)  ;D.
I don`t think cloudy is as strong as normal ammonia.
What`s it packaged as, Pure Tech?

It is packaged as Cloudy Ammonia and is available in supermarkets.
It does smell quite strong if you were to inhale it undiluted but it is not a problem (I hope) when added to your mix.
I have gg4 and dont like it very much.
Poor slip, hard to see and any residue or missed detailing shows up quite badly. It does leave a good shine though.
