Are hard floor brushes interchangable ?
« on: February 28, 2011, 09:59:39 am »
As post title, are the brushes interchangeable between makes of machine ?
Say if I buy a brush for a Numatic 17 inch rotary, will it fit the victor when I buy that ?

As per the previous post, no they are usually for that particular make/model.
If buying used try to get a rotary with brushes and drive board because the brushes can be expensive and a pain to get hold of.

I would have been buying a re-con Victor 17 inch today, but due to a nasty letter from the tax man I have had to give them the money instead.
Which means I will have to hire a Numatic again for my tile and grout booking on Friday, the hire machine only comes with a drive board for pads, but I want a brush for the grout,so would prob have to buy one, unless I can talk them into letting me borrow one,not sure they will though,so will mean I have a brush for a Numatic I won`t need ,

Mark

Depending how big the job is why not use a hand held deck scrubbing brush.?

Will that cut the mustard though Expro ?
Was going to buy a special grout brush,it`s quite a large area, kitchen, bathroom and small utility room, all in the same commercial type tiles.
It costs me £36 for the buffer for a day,job is worth £91 total inc carpets £221,so not bad for a small 2 bed place.
Would have bought one this morning if I had been up to date with my tax
