not quite sure from ur posts wether ur tank is filling or not, but from experience i can tell you clean out the header tank, vac it out, sometime some scale can cause a problem in the tank feeding the pump, especially after you've descaled the machine.
secondly run machine till warm then open the vacuum tank and see if it;s dumping water ( it should not be), the dumpvalve on the back of the machine can have a pinhead of scale in it, but can be easily taken apart and cleaned out. if dumping water could also be temperature sensor playing up but probably not.
