Oil on tarmac is a nightmare - anything you do to remove the oil may degrade the tarmac itself... be careful using heat.

I had this exact problem on my own drive. When i pressure washed it the stones came flying out and I was left with little holes where the oil had been. Be careful.

I wouldn't have quoted for it with oil on. It could take you ages to remove it. Plus make drive even worse. I'd stick to the glass mate.

if its faded tarmac you could always give it a light pressure wash to give it a clean and then use the tarmac restorer paint to restore it back to new colour

Black country folk seem to have similar opinions this one included. Most people I know have their own Karcher pressure washer anyway.

Lets have the method out in the open then. I`ve read every post on this forum and others, websites relating to pressure washing, spoken with experienced pressure washer users and bad oil stains are mostly sorted by replacing the surface they are on if the customer wants the stain gone.

That is very probably the best answer to the problem if its the stain that they really want shifting.  You might get away with a brick wash of some sort and a brush but I'd go with replacing the blocks.
