Hi Helen, I guess it's a good thing to be a member of a trade organisation when you want someone to lobby on your behalf.  Keeping up to date on things and there has to be some assurance for the customer that your a member.

I can see a few other benefits like legal advice etc should it be needed.  A few discounts on equipment and training always helps I guess.
