hi all your advice please, I seem to be losing work all the time now with people cutting back during the recession, so many customers seem to be losing their jobs and can no longer afford me.
  I would like around about 800 quid work per month as an add on to my existing round. How is it best to canvass ? door knock or leaflet drop? Any good places to get flyers from? any tips?

Hiya mate. I would say canvasing is best. I've just taken almost 700 leaflets out over last few weeks and haven't had one call yet.
My local printers did my leaflets in A5 5,000 for £50.

i allways find it best to meet custies ,and let them see you.i once put leaflets in 200 houses nothing.went back knocked on a few doors ,ended up with 196 of the same houses

reading what others say for every 100 put out might get 2 jobs not a lot

door knock door knock door knock. its the only way. ive nearly got my round to what i want and in that time ive dropped 5000 leaflets whilst door knocking. i do still get phone calls from the leaflets ive dropped but from the 5000 i dropped ide say i can get the same result in one week of evening canvesing.
