I dont know of its the same on the fiesta van but a fiesta I had years ago had the pump primer in the passenger footwell. There was a circular hole cut in the plastic covering to reach it.

Diesels can be a bitch to get going after draining any fuel out of the fuel lines.
Sometimes you just have to keep cranking it over to get it to start.

I've got a Fiesta 35 diesel. Didn't even know it had a fuel primer pump!

Its actually a fuel pump reset switch I believe.
Its there incase the vehicle is involved in an accident and shuts off the fuel supply.
