i used to use multi pro and fib fab, very good but bit foamy and expensive, now use powerburst, (prochem) (better by far and cheaper) and rinse with hydramaster clear water rinse, (the same but cheaper) if you need a kick just add some citraboost (prochem) or citrus concentrate (restormate) thats all ya need really apart from a good splitter.

Must admit I am also guilty of just sticking too Prochem, mainly use Multi pro,fib and fab,p spray gold, powerburst, traffic clean, double clean, odour fresh, liquid de foamer, fabric restorer, got just about everything Prochem do,getting great results with that lot so don`t really see the need to try anything else

Hello Mark

I only use Prochem at the minute, apart from craftex HWE fluid, Have been using multi pro as a prespray{cold}, agitating as soon its down then HWEing with craftex fluid in tank,  have a bedroom and landing and stairs to do tomorrow on a synthetic carpet in morning{not that dirty} was thinking of using Prespray gold and Ff to rinse for a change, Do you notice much of a difference beween the two.

Was using the same "multi pro and fabric and fibre" switched to power burst. Works out cheaper.

I get on better with Multi pro than I do Pre spray gold,I have found psg,is not quite strong enough sometimes,so instead of having to clean something twice I now just blitz it with Multi p,if it`s really bad,I use Ultra pac ren,and always have a bottle of Solval and Solvex handy

Funny you mention that Tony

I had email from a guy telling me my price was too high saying he had been offered a clean for £8.99

My reply, was something like this

Thank you for taking the time to get back to me regarding the carpet cleaning  quotation on the 17/12/2010
Please be aware with any service, the price is something you pay, while quality & service you expect.

It has also been brought to my attention that some people are seeking good value carpet cleaning for the above price
£8.99 please see the link below.
