Rinsing on regular maintenance cleans
« on: January 11, 2011, 09:22:57 pm »
How many of you find it necessary to rinse on regular maintenance cleans. After 4 to 6 weeks between cleans most windows are not very dirty and I wonder if it makes a lot of difference if you rinse or not.

Andy.

How do you remove any dirt if you don't rinse?

By Scrubbing and having a high flow rate which washes the dirt away.

I rinse like a beast, brush off, rather than do a dodgy job. I'm only a novice though so probably rinse too much.

Rince properly every time; it's the only way to be sure you've done a decent job.

In my humble opinion, of course ;)
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

I'm not sure i'd entireley agree with this. Some windows are exposed to the elements and do incur the wrath of the rain/wind, others get road traffic film.

Rinsing is part of the package... wether it be on or off ... it needs to be done

Just brushing a window in my opinion just isnt enough to ensure you have done a propper job. As said above, different windows are subject to different conditions... if you want to keep your customer / not have to re-clean, then do it propper and rinse
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go
