Cash is the best option but nower days both partners work and they prefer online banking straight into your Business account and some customers like to pay by paypal. :D

Bank transfer payments are the way foward - most decent customers use internet banking now - its faster, more conveniant for the customer, and the most secure method.

I used to moan about customers who were late payers sending a cheque in post - but think about it - people use cheques to pay for things very infrequently now - banks hate them as they cost money to process - and you are still at the mercy of the Royal mail and their crap service, so switch as many customers as you can to bank transfer - you wont regret it !
