« on: December 30, 2010, 11:57:56 am »
Hi all :)

Any one used one of the telescopic ladders from maplins??

They are doing a 2.9m one for £60, i am mainly WFP but im thinking in to buying something like this for access and a couple of jobs with flat roofs.

I'm sure those telescopic ladders can be quite handy and useful for small quick jobs but I just don't trust them, I have a vision of catastrophic failure where I'm at the top of the ladder and each section fails and I come crashing to the ground! No thanks  ;D

the way he fell was nothing to do with the type of ladder though, we sell these ladders and people find them to be most handy.

I know Most ladder injuries are not the ladders fault, just most people dont check and then check again.
