Carpet sample book for cleaners.

Does anyone now where I could get a carpet sample book ?
I was told at the carpet cleaning training course that an american
website sells a quite good one with all sort of carpet fibrers
and constructions and description, ideal for carpet cleaners. But I can't find it.
Any Help would be very much appreciated.

The NCCA hand out samples of both carpet and upholstery but you'll have to do their course. The samples handed out are good and give you a good reference but I doubt they are exactly what you're looking for.
Best bet is to pay regular visits to a local Carpet Shop. Most times they'll have a few offcuts and be more than happy to tell you exactly what they are and even take a sample.

Go to carpet retailers and get their old samples before they only go in the skip as trade waste.

I took The Prochem Carpet And Upholstery training course.
It's a good course I have to say. But, they focuse a lot on their
own range of product though. The instructors are very knowledgeable
and helpful don't get me wrong. Just think that they could
provide some samples to take home. In the end they gave us a few samples
of their chemicals. But as a learner I'd rather have fibres samples
In the end of the day we are there to learn about carpet fibre identification and their
tolerance to chemicals in general.

If they didn't charge for the course, they could make it all about
their products. That's all I'm saying...

i've done prochem course, done 3 of them now and thought they were great. hardly ever did they mention their products it was only really ever when someone asked. it's only £90 a day so i think it's fair that they do a small amount of promotion of their stuff.

Im glad that you had a different experience Gcs.
With my class they talked us through the full range of their
product in details.
I bought 3 days course as well. I'm not denying that their course
is good. As a beginner, and short budget, £90 + vat /day is great value.
