Thats fine if you plan to mix the water fed polesystem, and the traditional method,

personally, having started from a back pack , with a small van... then a larger van ...and tank..

i would suggest that you aimed for as much pure water as you can manage, and carry in the van... in other words , dont start small and spend a fortune upgrading,

go for at least a 400 litre tank and a 300 gpd ro system,....and skip all the start up bits ,

think big ,  cheap starter below. , and will give you enough water when you are really busy.  ;)

thx guys, im thinking of having the RO system going into a static 1000ltr IBC tank then having a 400ltr tank in my van but run it thoght a DI vessel before entering the van so its 0.00 TDS. Do i need any pumps for this? i think i do but i dont know how meny or where to place them? thanks

A 75 GPD Ro will be very slow at producing pure compared to something like a 200 GPD RO.
Spend a bit more initially on a half decent RO because it will be worth it in the end.

when i started off i bought 20x 25ltr containers a trolley etc, it lasted a wk till i was sick of messing withthe barrels. so defo get a van system with as big a tank as you can afford and mange to carry legally.

I did similar to Mike and probably a lot of others on here.

Now I have both a van tank and a trolley system and find that both have their uses.  I have been tempted to sell my trolley system though but do still use it for the odd job.

If I had to choose either a van tank OR a trolley....go for the van tank everytime.
