Are they those Italian vacs by any chance, I don't like them. Lamb Ametec are the only ones worth fitting.

Did you take note which connector went to what terminal don’t think it would be terminal if you haven’t

Have you checked each vac independently?
I think they are in series, meaning one pulls thro the other.
If one vac not working the other one may cause it to spin, but not sufficient to suck.
(but thinking about it, some suction would be there......I think)
Worth checking.

Which Lamb motor fits?

Do the mounts line up without bracket etc.

A mate of mine takes his machine to a place in Bristol, can't remember their name off hand, but I'll call him in the morning and ask.
If there isn't enough time to do the job right,  how do we find the time to go back and do it again when the customer is not happy ?   Do it right the 1st Time.

My Powrflite has 2 mounting points for the Imperial
vac motors, so with lamb motors an adaptor needs
to be made up, the holes will not align without it.

You should have 3 large flexible pipes, 1 from where the
connecting pipe from the stack comes through to vac 1,
the second from No 1 exhaust, to the manifold below
vac No 2, the third from No 2 exhaust into the casing
of the machine.

I suspect either the motors are not squarely fittd on their
respective manifolds, or maybe the connecting pipe from the
stack through the pump/heating section is kinked or come off.

You cannot wire a vac motor wrong as it will spin correctly whatever
the polarity of the supply.

It doesn't have a waste gate, it's a stoppered pipe.
