One of my competitors is being a bit naughty to say the least.When google recently changed to having local listings more prominent on page one,he has started putting different address's so his site is on page one for loads of areas on local listings.He's not even using different sites,but the same one,with many address's.This has p****d me right off,because i am not getting no way near the amount of calls i used to before the changes to google.Do you think i should report him to google!

All you have to do is get vertual address, where you can recive mail. Google will write to you, if you have the code they send you you just enter it and your back in google, address are only 6.95 a month to recive mail
or you can use mailbox.

report and see what happens. if it's allowed then they'll let it stay and no harm done, if it's not then they'll remove it.

I also lost lots of business when these changes came in and have had to make big changes in the way i do business.

I would not report him but find other ways the lift your listing. give tina a call and she will give you my number and i tell you how.

you should never get into this frame of mind over other cleaners and focus on your business. this way you have control over the outcomes.

As i said my phone stopped ringing over night when these changes came in. I am sorry to say but even google is having problems in the form of facebook that's why they are changing. this in my view is just the start of some big changes with google maps. The free ride is over.

Lets not forget the investment google makes and how many people make money for free in the past. I have made thousands of the back of them. SEO is just one area that google can draw back money. by putting the maps where they now are why would a local business pay for SEO when its only going to get you below the fold of the page?
