Very professional camera work Terry. I'm impressed.

It's amazing to notice the differences with the UK. They looked like 24 oz Kentucky mops? Much better to use on large areas but I haven't seen that size for years. Also you rarely see skirting (baseboard) cleaner used. I also wish we could get our clients to pay for a 4-5 coat job. No matter how you explain it's better value they (even the American clients) tend to go for a 2-3 coat job then expect it to last 18 months in a retail environment - I wish!

One thing I would have pointed out is to cross - hatch your coats and also not to put multi - coats where the feet don't go. By that I mean just have a double coat along the skirtings that way you avoid a build up as it doesn't get 'walked off'

As I say impressive though especially if it was all a DIY job. Well done you. Phil D

Nice Vid

For what’s it’s worth I always use a skirt (stops the splashing)

thanks for watching and for your comments guys. It's always interesting to hear opinions of people from other countries and to compare.
Speaking about mops, yes, this is a 24 and we have even bigger ones 32.
A lot of US clients want to put 2-3 coats too, especially in this economy, when each penny counts.
When you say skirt, I think that you mean what we call a "splashguard". Yes, I have that too, just wasn't using it on that job.
