Cheers mate, looking at getting the new 45ft one which is longer closed length, if it goes in doblo then shouldnt have a problem,

I Think you will struggle. I have the 40' supermax with gooseneck in my Trafic SWB going down the left hand side of tank (resting on wheel arch) and it just barely fits.
The 44' might fit diagonally across the top of your tank but if not you can cut out a hole in the metal panel under the passenger seat so the pole lies from double back door of van, over wheel arch, through hole and into front cabin. Thats what Ionics did for me when I bought there 45' pole years ago. hope it makes sense.

I have just bought the 47ft compact which I think is 5'9 closed and that only just fits up against the bulk head with carbon goose neck on. That's on a vivaro swb

Have they increased the length of the sections then? It might explain why my replacement sections look about five inches longer than before.

They now seem to have two versions. One with less sections & thinner base but longer closed length. One with more sections & fatter base but short closed length.

@Rwc

I've had to use it almost fully extended and it is fairly flexi but then I've never used any other pole of this length so can't compare.

I have to say though that I'm very happy with the pole and superlight brush I got with it. It's actually a shorter closed lenghth than the general use poles I have

The new super-max 45 is longer then the older one, suppose with the quick release goose neck should make it easier
