Try a different design.

Try a different type of area (council, standard houses, mansions etc).

Make sure the 'call to action' on the leaflet is clear.

Consider having a mobile number AND landline.

Is you company based in the same area as the areas you're dropping (some people like a company close).

There's so many factors - I think getting it right to begin with is extremely important before you go out and drop 1000's of leaflets.

But fair play to you, go out and do it! As some other people have said calls will drip by occasionally down the line - and your 'brand name' will possibly be on there mind - which is always good when you eventually door knock (perhaps after Xmas).

it depends on if theres much need for one in the area. And  keep dropping and eventually you will get an area where  you get loads of calls. Im putting 10k out of proffesionaly designed leaflets and inc FREE fascia soffit and external gutter cleans in the first clean price which there is a little higher price for. you dont make much money but i get loads of calls and if the house is a 10er i double the first clean and explain it takes longer cus i use wfp for the first clean and external fascia free, and i make the custs sign a bit of paper saying customer agreement that hwc will clean there windows for at least the next 3 cleans and if they cancel in the 3 months they have to pay  3 cleans ,... and i tell them that i do it just to stop the idiots who get 1 clean and go. The agreement doesnt do a lot but it does stop prats from using me and for me its been a brilliant way of getting a big round in quick and a lot cheaper than canvassers.  i paid 200 quid for the leaflets which was a lot cheaper than me paying for ink fom this and canvassing got me 400 custs... hope this helps it sounds complicated but was quite simple and quick

Sounds like a good idea Dan - hard work to begin with though.

Do you do fascia soffit and external gutter cleans with ladders???

2 new custys wooop wooop lmfao i dunno if it was counsil, looking at it i think it was a bit posh for counsil homes, i live in counsil home and mine is a slum to them, both bungalows tho so easy work. im charging 6 quid for bungalows but others like 2 bed home is a min 8 quid. 89p per window im charging. 2 bed homes round here have 9 windows so 9 x my cost per window of 89 p  is £8.01 lol  8) i got rid of them leaflets tho and only got 2 custys but its worth all that walking, saves the gym trip

2 bungalows- well you struck lucky today. when you clean these get chatting and ask them if they can put a word in with their mates or neighbours .  think you are in the south ,if so your prices seem a bit under the going rate, but thats fine as i price at 8/9 quid a semi in south and you wont seem pricey if you stay under a tenner which is all good.

not so long ago i heard of a guy doing detached houses for £4 he had a very big compact round too . that was too low in my opinion no matter how quick he worked.he got sh/t money but on the other hand he took no sh/t complaints and only did glass only

i have to compete with one cleaner whos been about 20 years in my area and everyone praises him up and theres another local lad whos been at it 7 years and hes cheap as chips so its trying to balance it all out with cost to get custys, im putting prices up in april  ;D only fair with inflation etc etc its a business i run not a charity.  ::) im targeting the oap`s they chatter lots and nose out there windows all the time, they will go to shops and say i got new cleaner hes good and cheap and word will get around fast, you kno villages lol ;D
